This time we will tell you about another building in Latvia where talis II presence detectors by “Grasslin” were successfully used. At the beginning of this year, in February, in a small Latvian town of Ludza grand opening of a completely new public pool took place. People of Ludza and the town’s surrounding area have long dreamed of having the opportunity to have fun and exercise on the water all year round. “The newly erected building is modern, compact and elegant, it draws attention with the contemporary architectonic solution and interesting lighting”, that’s how local authorities of Ludza describe the new pool.
We’re very pleased that “PAWBOL Baltic” in cooperation with SIA “Baltijas Elektro Sabiedrība” branch in Rezekne were able to provide talis II presence detectors for the Ludza pool building. These high-class devices made by “Grasslin” now help to control lighting of the building, turning lights on and off at precisely the right moment, helping to reduce electricity bills and take care of nature.
There are talis II P 360-8-1 presence detectors at work in the Ludza pool building (click the picture to see the full description of the device at our B2B portal). This model of presence detector utilizes passive infrared technology (PIR) and is designed for flush mounting, but can be converted for surface mounting as well, so it can be integrated discreetly in any room’s design. Setup is performed after installation using the device’s rotary knobs on the side of the presence detector. This presence detector offers a high energy efficiency through regular light balancing and offline function when there is sufficient daylight.
