This summer, the first building of the housing project "Merks Viesturdārzs" in the quiet center of Riga, the capital of Latvia, was commissioned. With ecology in mind, this truly modern and high-quality apartment building project is designed in accordance with Class A energy efficiency requirements.
And, just like many other high-class projects, “Merks Viesturdārzs” was equipped with high-class German manufacturer’s “Grasslin” devices. Presence sensors were installed in the common areas – corridors and staircases. Two models turned out to be best suited for the project: talis II P 360-8-1 flush-mounted presence detectors and talis II PS 360-8-1 surface mounted detectors.
talis II detectors for the project were supplied by SIA “PAWBOL Baltic” in cooperation with SIA “Baltijas Elektro Sabiedrība” and installed by SIA “Lanela Power Solutions”. Thanks to the “Grasslin” sensors, the residents of “Merks Viesturdārzs” will not overpay for the electricity that will be used in the common areas, because the lights will only turn on when there is not enough daylight and only when people are present.
