Name: Georgy Romanovs
What does he do as a part of our team: Purchasing and Sales Coordinator. He processes and analyzes orders that our clients place via the pbplus.eu B2B portal and via e-mail. If any of the products needed are not stored at our warehouse, Georgy orders them from the suppliers and monitors deliveries. At the next stage, he oversees the delivery of completed orders from our warehouse to clients. He also warmly answers calls to our office phone number +371 62006800.
Suspected to have superpowers: tireless energy, as well as composure and stress resistance.
Special skills: Georgy joined our team recently but he has vast experience in electrical materials’ sales – more than 25 years. In his work, he uses all the knowledge and skills accumulated over the years. Georgy creates a feeling of celebration every day in the office – he dances, sings, tells his own jokes and quotes witty sayings from films, songs and books. Colleagues say that with his baritone Georgy could work as a radio host. Also, Georgy is the one to remind everyone that it is time to eat something by asking "How about some fun?" :)
Forces of evil that hinder him in reaching his goals: Georgy is so agreeable and unwilling to provoke a conflict that it’s difficult for him to refuse to help others even when it is time to say "no".
Qualities that allow him to overcome difficulties: energy, positive attitude, charm, politeness, responsibility, commitment, punctuality, perseverance, excellent memory, knowledge of 4 languages, as well as the ability to drink 6 cups of espresso per day :)
What he likes to do when he takes off his superhero's work uniform: Remain a superhero cyclist. Georgy spends about two hours every day in a bicycle saddle – he gets to and from work across the city of Riga using only this transport. Even this past winter neither snowdrifts nor frosts down to -20 degrees stopped him. On weekends, his favorite leisure activity (surprise!) is long bike rides :)
Georgy is partly Polish on his mother's side and loves Poland, the Polish language and culture. For about two years now, he has been actively studying the Polish language, and colleagues hear how he speaks on the phone with Polish partners in their language.
What Georgy says about himself: "I like my colleagues and the atmosphere in our team. I really appreciate the openness and the fact that it’s possible to discuss any issue in a constructive way and find a solution."
